This instance is available for Fellowships and includes 2 tiers of difficulty. If the side-quests had only beneficial (or neutral) effects, then it could have been a great scenario, but the side-quests effects are bad, completing the side-quests is bad, not completing them is bad, the dragon is bad, the enemies are bad, the locations are bad, too much damage coming in both to you and to an objective that you're trying to save, meanwhile, you somehow have to muster questers, attackers, and defenders from turn 1 and every turn from there if you want to make it as you only have about 6 turns before you lose.Here are the Release Notes for Update 23.1.7, released on Thursday, December 13th. Roam Across Rhovanion: Also a fun scenario, a bit predictable, but leans towards the easy side, particularly since you get a couple objective allies through the first few quests.ДЇire in the Night: It feels like it could be fun, but too many things are against you so it can quickly feel 'unfair' and it starts from the word go. It has a similar initial challenge, but isn't every turn so you can be more strategic. The Withered Heath: Shares some similarity to The King's Quest, except that they did it right this time. There's almost no replayability here since the decks that can beat it don't face a challenge, while the decks that can't beat it, simply can't. The decks that could do it, basically had little trouble winning after that. It didn't feel like I had a chance no matter what I drew. I beat it with 5 out of my 8 decks, but those 3 that couldn't do it scooped on turn 3-4 every single time due to hitting the threat cap. The questing demands are just way too high, so if you don't have a capable deck it's like banging your head against a wall. The King's Quest: 1B (aka the start of the scenario) is hot garbage. It's long, with a lot going on, but I think it does the idea of Mirkwood justice and I feel it has a lot of replayability. Lost in Mirkwood: I actually love this scenario. Lengthy scenario with a good balance of difficulty with the potential for a few 'oh crap' moments. Journey Up the Anduin: It's fun with some tough friends from the core set, this is a good place to cut your teeth. Things are tuned pretty high and it's kind of a 'if you have the cards to beat it, it shouldn't be a big problem, but if you don't, you might pull your hair out.' The player cards, as others have mentioned, are fantastic, the scenarios are pretty good too with a caveat. I finally just played through Wilds and the three AP's today.
